Electronic Transfer & Advance Processing Inc. (eTap Inc.) has officially partnered with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) to enhance financial accessibility and convenience for every Filipino by integrating physical and digital cash transactions—ushering in a robust phygital solution.
This synergy enables users of RCBC’s DiskarTech app to cash in through eTap’s extensive network of over 3,000 self-service machines located in convenience stores, supermarkets, groceries, pharmacies, and bakeries nationwide. This initiative provides a more viable cash-in option, particularly for users in remote and under-served areas where eTap machines are present.
The partnership was formally signed by eTap President Marlon Portugal and Chief Strategy Officer Juan Miguel Hernandez, alongside RCBC Executive Vice President and Chief Innovations and Inclusion Officer Lito Villanueva, and Vice President for Usage and Strategic Businesses Michael Christopher Cruz.

The signing ceremony was held at RCBC’s Collaboration Hub (CollHub) on the 25th floor of the RCBC AT Yuchengco Centre, attended by key executives from both organizations as well as members of the media.
Beyond Integration: Building a robust phygital ecosystem
Biller integration remains a core component of eTap’s self-service ecosystem. This business pillar provides Filipinos with more ways to transfer money, cash in, cash out, and pay bills—empowering communities to complete transactions with just a few taps.
eTap’s strategic partnerships and alliances are an essential part of its vision: to nurture and strengthen relationships within the financial ecosystem while working toward a shared goal of improving the lives of Filipinos through financial accessibility and inclusion. Integration is more than just a process—it’s a testament to the unwavering commitment of eTap and its partners in advancing this advocacy.
Bridging the Digital Divide
In every transaction, experience is the benchmark, and accessibility is the driving force. Through eTap’s customizable self-service machines, customers can conveniently perform physical cash transactions to send funds to e-wallets, buy e-load, and pay bills—providing more flexible options for everyday needs.
This phygital approach—a blend of physical presence and digital accessibility—enhances the daily lives of Filipinos by leveraging a unified ecosystem that bridges the digital divide.
